What makes your program unique?
You'll get an inside look at the real, hands-on process of running my studio, gallery, and design work. It’s practical, not just theory—I'm constantly in the mix, experimenting, and figuring things out, and I want you to be part of this collective learning journey.
I blend curiosity, fearless creativity, and honest self-expression with just enough structure to help you grow with clarity and confidence. Spice Art Club focuses on sustainable practices and supportive community — so your art practice feels nourishing, not overwhelming. With a background in graphic design and experience running my own gallery, I offer a mix of creative guidance and practical insight to help you stay consistent, build your voice, and move forward in a way that feels true to you — both artistically and professionally.
Will I need new art supplies?
If you've already been making acrylic art, you may have these. Here are my go-to supplies: Montana markers, Posca markers, Lukas Acrylic or any acrylic paints, color pencils of any brand, Chip Flat brush from a home improvement store, Tupperware buckets, and shop towels, to name a few. I will supply you with the list when you're in the club.

I’m also enjoying sticking my sketches on the wall, like little bits of me, the parts that I like and the parts I don’t. I’m listening to the inner child who just wants to play and trying to ignore the judge.
Thanks, Nino and everyone, for inspiring me to get back into the art kitchen!

Spice Art Club has changed my life!
Before spice I would sit on YouTube and watch all your videos over and over. Then came the opportunity for a direct line to you! You have no idea how grateful I am and how much I've learned, but continue to learn from you.
- Hayley Gecelter
I love the variety and especially appreciate being able to go to recordings when I am able. I work full time and can't always attend live events.
- Barbara Weber
This is my favorite type of lesson - it helps me - to hear you consider changes, what you are thinking, and how relates to design and what you do and show/talk about what happens - thank you, Nino!
- Debra Stanis
Last Friday's session has been really freeing me up, a lot of my fears have disappeared since then, thank you and the Club!
- Benedicte Allee
An intimate community of artists in his group and is developing a series of mini-workshops within the membership-one of which is about using acrylic paint markers. After watching it, I finally got some big markers and experimented with them a bit today. He's got a lighthearted but diligent approach to art-making that resonates with me.
- Darla Myers
I can watch this for hours! It’s as exciting as a nice film on Netflix!
- Loes van de Ridder
I have been a member of Spice Art Club for a little over a year. In this safe place, as a beginning artist, I am learning daily about process over results and how to just post my artwork for accountability, letting go of more results. So much generosity and support from my Spicey Art Pals!
- Vicki Seastrom
I love the encouragement and sharing that takes place in this community. I also get a lot out of the feedback sessions and am enjoying the videos you've created. I'm still rather new to the group and haven't had the time I'd like to devote to exploring more of the site. There's a wonderful sense of playfulness here too!

I feel I have more confidence when throwing the paint around (on the canvas, I mean). The paint on the floor, well that has always been there. I am less judgmental of my work. Just letting it flow. Also working in shorter bursts of time so I stop earlier before I have created mud. That alone was a huge step forward. I was always ruining everything by overpainting & not letting it dry between layers.

I have learned to trust myself. I have learned to simplify. I could go on, I have 100 good things to say, but I am trying to simplify. haha.
