Q&AÂ
Â
Do I need experience?
No. This is open to all levels. If you’re new, you’ll have a clear way to start. If you’ve been painting, this helps you loosen up and see your work differently.
Â
What will I make?
You’ll create a few small studies and build into 1–2 larger pieces (or strong starts). The focus is on process, not perfection.
What materials are included?
All materials are provided—paints, brushes, and surfaces. Just show up.
What should I bring?
Bring yourself and anything personal you’d like to use (optional), like a favorite brush or reference photos.
Is lunch included?
Yes. Lunch and light snacks are provided so you can stay in the flow.
What’s the structure of the day?
We’ll start with warm-ups, move into demos and guided painting, take a lunch break, then build into larger work. We’ll end with a light group share.
Will there be critique?
Yes, but it’s light and supportive. Think of it as helpful feedback, not formal critique.
What if I don’t like what I make?
This day is about experimenting and finding new ways to work. You’ll leave with momentum and ideas you can keep building on.
How many people will be there?
It’s a small group to keep it personal and give everyone space to work.
What should I wear?
Something comfortable that you don’t mind getting paint on.
